Yading Nature Reserve
The Yading Nature Reserve is located in southern Daocheng County and the south is adjacent to Yunnan. The Nature Reserve covers an area of 1457 square kilometers and is mainly composed of the three famous mountains and the surrounding rivers, lakes, and alpine meadows with an average elevation of over 4000 meters. The snow-capped mountains, cliffs, crystal clear lakes, vast pastures, the dense woods as well the Tibetan villages compose a harmonious pure land of Yading.
As a must for hikers, Yading Nature Reserve, with a continental monsoon humid climate, is open from April to October, but there may be many rainy days in July and August so recommend that bring warm clothes while visiting.
