Sanjiang
Located in the north of Guangxi, Sanjiang (means three rivers) Dong Autonomous County is named for the confluence of three rivers: Xunjiang, Rongjiang, and Rongjiang. Home to more than 200,000 Dong people, Sanjiang is notable for its large number of well-preserved wooden drum towers and “Wind and Rain” bridges among them Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and Mapang Drum Tower are the most famous. Visitors can also watch Dong folk performances in local villages and join different traditional festivals.
